Selling with Adey Auctions
Are you thinking of selling your collection?
Do you have a house, business, or farm that needs clearing?
Have you considered having an auction?
Auction is a great method to reach hundreds of eager buyers, drive competition, and help you achieve a fair market price, or even better! And you can do all this without the hassle of having to sort through the items yourself, write ads, pack and post, or directly engage with buyers. We're here to alleviate all that stress while ensuring no valuable treasures slip through the cracks due to underestimation!
Adey Auctions provides a complete on-site auction service throughout Adelaide and its surrounding areas. We handle everything from set-up and lotting to processing payments and collection after the sale, all from your premises, negating the need for costly removalists or hours of packing. Our auctions are broadcast live and online, extending our reach to buyers from across Australia and beyond, increasing your chances of getting the best price possible.
We specialise in:
-
Selling collections
-
Complete house clearances
-
Deceased estates
-
Major downsizing
-
Commercial liquidations
-
Farm clearing sales, and more!
We offer two full-service auction options: Online-only or in-person and online.
As part of our in-person and online auction service, we take care of the following:
-
The setting up, lotting, photographing, cataloguing, and listing of all your items.
-
Uploading the catalogue to Auction Mobility—the online bidding platform that allows people from all over Australia and beyond to bid.
-
Promoting the auction via social media and through www.adeyauctions.com
-
Timed bidding online for at least 5 days prior to the sale (see our “Buying” page to learn more).
-
Registering all bidders.
-
Hosting pre-auction inspection(s).
-
Conducting the live auction on site, in-person, and broadcasting it online.
-
Processing payments and distributing the items.

Our online-only auction service includes all of the above, except the live auction is conducted online only from an off-site location and no pre-auction inspections are held. We are, however, back on site to process payments and distribute the items after the sale.
How are we paid? Simple! We offer a competitive commission rate which is deducted from the sales proceeds.
